Preferred: • Experience with cost center-based accounting • Hands-on with stock reconciliation and valuation • Analytical mindset for financial health checks• Knowledge of additional ERPs or industry tools, MS Excel • Experience in financial planning and budget support • Audit & Tax Assessments.
Roles & Responsibility:• Review Finalization and closure of financials and filings • Lead internal checks on accounting entries, reconciliations, and statutory filings to ensure accuracy, compliance, and timely reporting • Review of Statutory compliance (PT, ESIC, PF, ITR, GST & TDS) • Perform Ledger, bank, and investment reconciliations • Depreciation calculations as per the Income Tax Act and Companies Act • Preparation of ageing reports and cost center reports • Performing accounting health checks and validations to ensure financial data is accurate, complete, and compliant with applicable standards. • Reviewing and analysing financial data, reports, and variances • Supporting audit processes and ensuring compliance with financial regulations. • Responsible for reviewing MIS reports to ensure data accuracy and timely reporting for management insights • Act as a key point of contact for client communication, ensuring smooth coordination and addressing queries promptly. • Assist in scrutiny cases and tax assessments. • Managing small accounting teams and guiding junior staff
